This statement, I agree with... but I also believe that mainstream Science is conducted for profit and thus, this profit, drives the education in schools which then channels future scientists into conventional methods and profit oriented careers with a very narrow focus.

In addition, I think that Science is the single largest reason for most of the messes we have today. One study says it does, another says it does not and the businesses that stand to lose a buck if it does state "see, the study is not definitive". A damaging product such as an herbicide or pesticide is then allowed to stay in\on food because the bozos who are there to "regulate" and "protect" the public had that abysmal Science education you were referring to and listen to the loudest, most persistent and well financially backed lobbyist, NOT common sense.

I did state that if you wrote the post on your own, to cite some references as I have researched some of the points you are trying to argue and have found some of your statements incorrect according to my research. But I am not going to debate them.

My post's intent was to nudge people into doing their own research and verify or discredit the statements for themselves. Who knows, maybe they will learn something of science in the process. Tweet
