Have you seen the movie then?

Gore addresses the points you make and has a lot of data which seems to show without doubt that we are VERY far off the natural cycle, and that we ARE causing this warming. How do you respond to his data? Do you think it's false? From what I've heard, he has used only the most conservative data and many scientists thought he was being overly optimistic in the movie. I'm not trying to be antagonistic; I really want to hear the "other side of the story" with regards to this movie.

From watching the information presented, it seems to leave no doubt that it is us humans that are screwing up the weather patterns of the earth, with the US leading the way.

I do agree with you that if it comes to the point that the earth becomes unlivable to humans, the environment will "bounce back" - without us.
