How about this as a solution: a new rule is implemented where any kind of name-calling or verbal abuse from one poster to other(s) results in a warning; 3 warnings or so result in a ban. *Everyone* is held to the same standard, as even people who head their own forum should be able to give discourse and answer questions without resorting to personal attacks/flames.

I'm openly conceding here I've done plenty of that kind of thing and frankly am tired of voicing an opinion (even if many people agree) on a situation that probably isn't going to change, so am ready to bury the hatchet here. It's really a pointless waste of time given that the two sides aren't willing to budge.

On a side note, Curezone has hundreds of forums. Does anyone else think there's a bit of over-specialization? E.g., the constipation, Bowel Cleanse and diverticulitis forums could be combined into one, the different fasting combined into one, etc. It would make the site easier to navigate and many of the forums have very little traffic anyway; the majority of discussion is held to a few dozen. Don't misconstrue this as I have a lot of respect for Spirit for setting up what is probably the best alt-health site on the Net, but I was wondering what anyone else thought about this. Tweet
