Re: I think I found the answer!
You are so right. When I started to feel the slight cramping and thought I had started to get my period yesterday, I was jumping up and down because I was so happy that I thought I was getting my period. (Turns out, I am just spotting.)But, I am really looking forward to getting my period again! Then, at least I'll know that my cycles have returned to normal. I wrote a letter to my OB explaining how disappointed I was in him. I told him that as a doctor, I feel he has no right passing his own personal beliefs onto his patients. But, that as a medical professional, he is obligated to tell his patients about the possible side effects that one may experience as a result of any medications, contreceptives, etc., that a patient is given. I was never given the Patient Informational Brochere, for Mirena. Had I had it, then I would have seen that some of my symptoms were the same as described in the brochere and had Mirena taken out a long time ago! Can we sue because our doctor's failed to give us the patient information? I am so disgusted and outraged in hearing that so many others of you, like myself, are being told the same bs. Then, we are feeling like we are the ones with a problem. Life these days, does make a person go crazy alone, we don't need Mirena helping that effect! I can only encourage others like myself to start speaking up. Tell your doctor's how you feel, that they have no right telling you it's "in your head". Tell them it ain't just coincidence that hundreds, if not thousands of others, like you, who have Mirena, have experienced the same symptoms. This has got to stop. We need to take a stand! United, we can conquer!! God bless all of you and plesae, stand up for your rights, your ever so prescious rights, as a woman.
