Some health food stores do carry it but mine does not carry any cultured veggies ( only Miso ). They told me they didn't want to be bothered because of the expansion in the product which made it messy at times. I thought " oh give me a break! " Mine doesn't come out of the box unless I have it shipped 'snail mail' in the dead of summer, and even then who cares. It's the fizziness that lets you know it's ALIVE and teeming with good bacterias!

Oh and yes the ones from the regular grocery stores are worthless as they are heated.
