Doctor says diet not going to help candida in esophagus
Hi guys,
Thanks for all your responses to my previous post. I went back to the doctor after the end of the Diflucan and asked him about the diet (which a friend had told me about). He said that eating
Sugar would not make it worse or make it come back. He says candida esophagitis, which is what I have, is different than "the kind in your stomach."
My question is: if I only have it in my esophagus, why do my sinuses and rashes seem better and my brain seem more focused/clear since the Diflucan? Aren't those symptoms of a broader candida infection? Could the doctor be wrong?
I'd love to know the truth, because this crazy diet is not something I can do long term. Also, eating sugar, bread, fruit, etc., does not make me feel ill or different at all, which some people on the forum say happens to them.
