Thanks Marti, Well I used it without the salt last night and guess what ? Only a tiny spot of discoloration where the clip hooks on. Think I'll wet sand the pipes to make sure they're really clean. The salt water made a little residue where the pipes were attached that didn't just wash off with water. That must be what's causing the slight discoloration I'm still getting.
