can you explain the elongation part? I would really love to understand more about minerals and the skin.
My skin has been very fragile and easily scarred, I know that remineralizing/alkalizing will eventually correct this problem for me. Is there one mineral that is most important to create strong skin that is not easily scarred? I know that it's not that simple but I'm thinking that calcium also makes the skin strong like it does the nails, hair etc..(my nails and hair are a mess too!).
My scarring started shortly after I gave birth, two weeks after to be precise. I was breastfeeding at the time..and taking lots of magnesium to relieve my insomnia..I think I depleted my calcium at this time and caused other mineral imbalances because the mg also gave me loose stools. My daughter had extreme insomnia and colic too..she probably wasn't getting any calcium (or much of the other calming minerals) from my breastmilk. In hindsight it's clear and not such a mystery. Do you think this line of thinking is possibly correct? thanks so much, now that I have increased my calcium (like you suggested) my thinking is becoming more clear. =)
