The more you fast the better you become at it. Doing anything the first time can be scary. I know an adult who never learned how to ride a bike. She is afraid she no longer has the ability to learn to do it. The site below has a page on fasting, lots of tips on losing weight and tells about the dangers of forced vomiting.
