Re: Juicer??

If you want a solid well built machine that will last a lifetime. Check out the Champion. It's a very simple and very efficient machine with few parts that probably been around the longest. I bought mine used over 20 years ago and when I wanted to replace a part found my machine was built in 1959 . The new parts were still interchanable. You'll find them used on Ebay. There is very little that can go wrong with them so I would buy a used one with confidence. Both Zoe and I own Champions.

The other machine that folks rave about is the GreenStar That one is not on the cheap side but it can also juice Wheatgrass which is not common with juicers cept dedicated ones. It's a twin gear design which is kinda the latest thing. It spins at lower RPM thus not causing any heat friction thus not introducing oxygen into the juices where you can make large batches that will keep for a few days. They also claim some kinda magnet voodoo on the twin gears that is supposed to contribute to the juices keeping fresh for a few days.
