Re: Essential Oils

Hi Kim:

I have been reading what you and Elaina have been saying about rose oil. It sounds like I’m missing out on a great many of the uses of EO’s. I haven’t used EO’s by themselves, only in the formulas that I make, which work wonderfully. I’m very interested in learning more about using EO’s by themselves, and when to use which oil for what condition.

Maybe I’m missing something, but how do you afford it. I usually buy my EO’s in 16 ounce bottles to use in making my formulas. But I looked up rose oil in my wholesale catalog from the supplier that I use. They list 2 rose EO’s. One is Bulgarian rose oil, and the other is Turkish rose oil. The cost for 1 ounce (28 gms) of either kind of rose oil is $245.30. Good Heavens! Am I losing it or what? I know that I’m on the low end of the financial scale, but that seems terribly expensive. Am I trying to buy it from the wrong supplier or what? Any information that you can share with me will be greatly appreciated.

Good Health and keep posting,
Tracy
