kevin....you haven't said how long you've known your roommate...or how you
met, etc...and you don't have to say....but what do you think about asking him
when he's in a good mood this weekend...if the two of you can sit down and
kind of have a little talk....just tell him you know 'he' was there first...
and you don't want to do anything that will invade 'his' privacy or upset 'him'...
so you'd just like to sit down and make some ground rules for YOU...since you're
new there.

Tell him you overheard him last night...about tbn and you're sorry...that you were
not aware that he disliked that channel so much...and you'll be more careful about
watching when he's around. And keep in mind also, kevin, that just because people...both preachers and lay people...are on a religious channel...does NOT mean
they're honest or sincere or in any way...good people. The best preacher you're
going to find is going to be behind a pulpit in a little country church of your
chosing. Start with that...and go from there.

And when they tease about things you've never done...just say, "Yep...that's why I
drove all the way out here...so you guys can introduce me to your world...I wasn't
that crazy about the one I was living in...and I appreciate you taking me under your wings."
See if at least one of those guys seems to be friendlier to you than the rest...
just kind of be observing. THAT person...may be someone you can get closer to...
but just roll with the punches......you came from a bad situation...and one thing is...that has made you kind of paranoid...and that IS normal...it's going to all
be ok.

Have you found a job yet? And tomorrow is Sunday...why don't you check around today
and see if there's a little country church you can attend tomorrow...or even a very
small one right there in your town....ask around this afternoon about what church
people recommend.

Did you see where I posted to you below...on the post you made last night? I hope
you'll have time to read that....
