Re: How many of you have had dental cleanup?
I had my amalgams removed in 1987-88 (done in 4 quadrants, about a month
or 6 weeks or so apart) because a wholistic dentist I was seeing at the
time advised it. He was the first dentist I'd ever met who was totally
against the dental establishment. I had been experiencing brain fog,
chronic fatigue symptoms, and the like. I did not notice an appreciable
difference after having had them out (he did according to the recommended
protocol for dental amalgam removal) but I surely have never regretted
doing it. I had 14 amalgams in all. (He also crowned a couple of my
molars, which subsequently broke as the material he used was not
hard enough, so I ended up having to have them redone by a
different dentist.)
