Re: i am paying mucho attention
I'm with ya, Trapezoid, & Grz, & KB & all... Yes I did read your "800" post....There is much info that has been lost...we must work on finding it! :) There is MUCH historical annointing of oil...
A dear friend of ours is pushing 60. He's an interesting character, a Vietnam vet, worked on the pipeline in Alaska...living in Alaska healed him of much of Vietnam. He has definitely lived through Hell. This man is SO comfortable in his skin, when he's sleepy, he's been known to find a hollow tree in which to nap:) He also only eats occasionally...only when he's hungry. When my husband broke his arm and was only able to sleep sitting up, he came & stayed a few days & ALSO slept sitting up, camped out in front of the fireplace... :) And he's more likely to make a meal of apricots than to actually eat a "meal". AND he uses avocado oil, on his skin & hair, daily. That's it. Just avocado oil. & his skin and hair is BEAUTIFUL! I guess that my point here is that this man lives a very intuitive life. I guess having been to hell & back can lead some to "cut the crap".
And, daily annointing of avocado oil makes ya LOOK GOOD!
We have much to learn. One common theme that I saw in your "800" post was an intimate relationship with the herbs, oils, foods, etc. No "consuming". Partaking as an active participant in Nature.
I'm not suggesting that we start pressing our own oil, although that would be fun to try... :)
I'm going to order some Evening Primrose seed oil. BTW, we HAVE Evening Primrose on our property...grows like a weed:)...Mebbe I'll wander out tomorrow & see if there are any seeds that the birds haven't gotten & if so, mebbe I'll just chew on them... :)
OR, I'll have hubby put them in his hydraulic press! What the heck am I talking about?! They're probably the size of carrot seeds! :)
HA! Anyway, just a few thoughts. This oil-swishing thing is getting REALLY interesting! :D
