Re: i am paying mucho attention

white hinde can mean white tunic, hinde being old netherland or scandinavian for tunic, cloak, or covering. white hinde = bleached white tunic, also the white sheath covering on the bulb of an onion plant, and a tulip bulb, is called a tunic or white hinde, sheath.
she found an 'ointment' while searching for a white hinde, white cloak bleaching agent, white sheath covering of a green onion bulb?
old herbal folk lore says if you eat an onion a day you will not catch colds or get sick, maybe she found onion juice ointment or used the sheath, white hinde, of an onion bulb as an ointment? The white sheath, film like covering of the green scallion bulb is a white hinde.
Fascinating stuff you are finding in those old works. If the pope knew of a 500 year old, maybe the 500 year old did not reveal the diet to the pope, because the popes all died pretty early, before age 100. More research and experimentation are needed to clarify exactly what was used as ' ointment'. Olive oil is good, so is onion juice.
A plant that acts as a bleaching agent, white hinde, may also clarify. Onion bulb juice has been used as a topical ointment and healing agent by herbalists for centuries. Many would be interested in any diet, herb, ointment, oil, food, a 500 year old or 1025 year old ate or applied. Thank you again for the posts.
