Re: I don;t believe in this diet

I don't believe they eat 100% raw food either. Because most of the people that author these books and DVD's about 100% raw food diet are overweight and unhealthy looking in their faces.

But the book that you are talking about "survival into the twentieth century" does not promote 100% raw food. He even says a few negative pages about people who follow a 100% raw food diet. He promotes eating a healthy Diet which inclued "some" cooked food.

The raw food people I have seen pictures of and who claim to eat 100% raw food diets every day look older than they really are and they look sick and they are fat and have double chins and are not healthy looking at all.

And you mentioned the hypocrates center....One of the founders of the hypocrates center, Ann Wigmore, only lived to be 85 years old. WHAT'S SO GREAT ABOUT THAT? Lots of people live to be 85 years old with eating cooked food. And Ann Wigmore was bald and wore a wig and was overweight and lived all alone with 10 cats all by herself. Here is a picture of her with her wig and her bad haircut and bad complexion. I seen some beautiful 85 year olds with good skin that eat cooked food, but this Ann Wigmore is not healthy looking.
