people have different reasons for being vegan, vegetarian, raw, whatever. if you had a really bad diet and you are now makingn positive changes, focus on the good taste and enjoyment of the raw foods, adn if you are say 70/30 raw/cooked or 60/40 or 90/10 or what-ever, keep in mind why you are doing this? ideology? health? what _your_ reasons are are as important as the nutrition itself. obsession with food for many is an issue, and they make this one more control issue instead of releasing, growing in freedom and peace, etc. i'm not saying that's you i'm just urging you as a newbie to enjoy the journey, and not make having some cooked food 'bad' or 'wrong' until you find what works for you. raw is healthy, but find the path you can love and enjoy.....:)
