Lyme Disease, Bacterial or Parasites

I have done alot of reading on Lyme disease and I ran across one source that says Lyme disease is a parasite problem. My daughter was dying when she was finally diagnosed and we did treatment for 2 1/2 years, We still have some issues which from what I'm finding outis due to the med's. I'm still researching to figure this out. I fear at any time she could regress and I want o prevent this so any info would be great.
