just got diagnosied, need help

Hello everyone. A little over a month ago my wife recieved her first yeast infection in her life at around the same time of her period. I beleive we had sex while she was having the infection. Two weeks later she had another menstral period and again a yeast infection. she treated it and then thought that it might be a urinary trac infection so she got treated through our family Dr. which we share. She was worried about what was going on with her and went to her obgyn and had pap smear, in which everything cameback clear. It was around this time I began to feel a slight burning in the shaft of my penis. So I visited our Dr. I was really concerned and asked if I should have blood work done,she asked if I had a discharge and I said no. She said a STD test wasnt given unless there is a discharge, Doc got my wifes file and told me I must have gotten her yeast infection,presc me some meds and the sensation was gone in 3-4 days. A day or two after I finished the meds my penis formed tiny single blisters (not in clusters)on the shaft, I thought they were flea bites and didnt think much of them for there wasnt any pain, iching or burning. A few of the blisters became larger than the others. After a week i got swabed at an urgent care. Before the results came back she visited our fam doc on her own, they came to the conclusion that this may have been the result of oral sex I recieved days before the outbreak and not to worry because of possible cold sores in her mouth. Lab test came back after 2 weeks as herpes2. I have been with my wife for 13 years and only her during this time. We went back to our family Doc and told her. After our visit she cant look me in the eyes. Needless to say I am very confused on what has happened. My question is can she have it and not have breakouts with blisters? I wanted her to have blood work done but refuses because her pap smear came back negative. Was her yeast infections breakouts or possible times of being contagious? I am praying the lab made a mistake and maybe its herpes1, I have not had many of the effects of a Gh bo except for the swollen lymph nodes. My blisters have healed but it appears the may scar.
Please any insight from anyone would be much appreciated. I am sorry this is long but I feel I have a unique story seeing how I have been monogamus with my wife for all our years. Thank you for your time.
