I work in a hospital and happened to speak to a friend who had just graduated as a doctor. I asked her whether, during dissection of the liver as part of her studies, if she had encountered any soft stones or residue in the liver ducts. She said that she had done many dissections but never encountered stones of any kind in the liver ducts. She said the ducts are very small and that any stones would be in the hepatobiliary ducts.
I am a little confused now and don't know how this can be that the liver would have no stones...I have done 8 flushes so far and I do feel better for it but I do wonder how I had passed so many tiny and larger stones and apart from the gallbladder where these stones came from (I cannot believe that they were made overnight from the olive oil taken, that's ridiculous)...can anyone enlighten me or have a link to a medical website that shows stones do exist in the liver.
