Guesses about Mucoid Plaque

Perhaps 'mucoid plaque' is a result of the exchange of moisture in the colon.

Since it isn't seen by medical 'looking' devices, it seems likely that mucoid plaque IS formed from, say, the psyllium/bentonite shakes, or other bulking agents...perhaps in conjunction with mucus or candida or other things present in the colon. (Potatoes? Flour? Okra? Certain fats?)

The colon is supposed to extract moisture (and nutrients?) from the digested food.

A bulking agent such as psyllium draws water to itself.

Clay also attracts water and has 'drawing' power.

Doesn't it make sense that the body will gladly make use of this reversal of the movement of moisture to dump what it doesn't want?

Obviously, the shaped mucoid plaque is formed in the colon, not the small intestine...small intestines just aren't shaped that way.

And, if it can't be seen with 'looking' devices, that means that it is formed more recently.

The foul odor must mean that the plaque contains old toxins...perhaps stuff stored by the body for a long time.

There also may be some type of function going on that draws bile.

The firmness of mucoid plaque may attest to the thoroughness of the colon's ability to remove water from digested food.

It seems logical to assume that extra water during this type of cleanse would be beneficial, although some of that might just be pulled out by the kidney system.

These are only guesses, as I say.
