I often need to give my body a break - give it time to rest and restore. Mineral balancing and bacteria replenishing is always a good idea. If your food absorption is down, are you using digestive enzymes? I use enzymes plus Jarrow bile acids to digest fats. To replenish I try to get lots of greens, fruits, veggies and protein. I actually freeze and blend veggies with some fruit in a blender. For me it works out better than juicing.
By the way, what illness are you healing from? Also, have you done parasite cleansing? One other thing to do when you are feeling stronger if you have not.
