Re: Broke my fast with a binge
Perhaps a
SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) in the morning may help. Again, like Asterix said, this is not a good way to treat your body. I broke a one day fast badly once and so know first hand the incredible pain the body can produce when you do not break gently. That is another reason why after 3 or 4 days it is easy to stick with the cleanse and NOT eat anything. My research in the archives have turned up more than a few horror stories.
If you are going to go on, then some of following recommendations would not apply, but if you are going to break, perhaps some good yogurt would help. Small amounts more frequently rather than large amounts once or twice. Hot water bottles or a tub of comforting water may help distract you. Ginger or peppermint tea would also help soothe the tummy.
Reflecting on the underlying issues and feelings of your binge episode would also be something to consider so that you can use this experience to grow in awareness and self-understanding.
Here are some tips on how to identify some of those feelings~

I hope you feel better soon. A spoon of blackstrap molasses would also help to neutralize the acid from the dairy products. Organic, unsulphured is preferred.
be happy, be well,
