This is what I was thinking, maybe somehow it can be of use.

Cortisol is what mobilizes bloodsugar, that is, tells the liver to release some sugar. Maybe, if there is too much cortisol, the liver cant handle it. Its store of Sugar might get depleted? Or its ability to convert stored.. is it glucagon? to glucose? is exhausted? Enzymes are needed to do that conversion. Enzymes may be lacking. This may be because a mineral deficiency, the wrong diet. Or Amalgam disturbing mineral transport or outright damaging the enzymes. Or the pancrease is leaking excess insulin for some sneaky reason.
