It is interesting that parasitic infections among people of the third world, is so high, that it has become the norm. Parasitic infections with [high] human specificity cause immune-suppression by the secretion of chemical isotypes which interact with human-cell receptors. This affects the entire CNS. Since the doctors and specialists in modern medicine show poor recognition of parasitic disease, I think a connection between the virus and parasites may be routinely over-looked.
