I was raw vegan for 3 years. It ruined my health in most ways. The problem is too much oil, too much nuts, too much avocados. And mix that with fruit and you have major fermentation.
Raw foodists like to say that they can cut down on the nuts and fruit, etc.. But they still need protein which isn't had very easily on the raw food diet.
I have to go, but to make a long story short, yes there are many authors who don't know much about what they are saying. Take david wolfe, wrote his first raw book after being raw for like 2 or 3 years!
Save yourself a lot of time and money. I am still recovering after being off the diet for 3 years. My digestion is horrible now. Use common sense and talk to a lot of people before changing your diet drastically.
