These people sell the plants--but it appears it is not the Elegans variety. I'd query them on that point,  if you are interested in growing them yourself...though they may well be unaware of the distinction.

Those I've begun to grow are from some seeds that are probably Barbarum and were sold as authentic wild Tibetan (by Tibetan, I always understand that to mean the source is unspoiled still, and the plants wild, rather than farmed)

Since then, I've bought some dried wild fruit from a Tibetan source and am going to germinate the seeds and compare.
I'm really excited about the vines and the potential for naturalizing them. (where I live the climate is fairly harsh)
Curiously, I'm not so taken with the dried fruit on its own, as it seems very dry--maybe even stale, though it purports to be a fresh harvest. There may though, be lots of potential in the leaf too---and that's exciting. Like the olive leaf.
