Re: flu virus/antibiotics and now extremely ill.

Hi there, thanks for that. I am lucky in the respect I was never caught up in rounds of Antibiotics , never had to before. Only as a kid onet ime I think for something, but I was fine.

However, I have suffered for 19years of my life with various and continual health issues from mercury toxicity, plus a permanent chronic fatigue from a bacterial infection I got a few years ago that left me with permanently ill. From there, I've had other things occur that have further weakened my system and added to the load. But never had Antibiotics for any of this.

However, this time? since this recent flu, recent Antibiotics , I was stunned to get such a terrible reaction and to have it continue weeks later is a concern to me. I'm on the candida diet, but have cheated and am back on it again and hope to heck things pan out at some point. I cannot do anything now without worsening badly.

I do eat raw foods, like vegetables etc. I wished I had not gone to that doctor and had antibiotics, as you said, there are other ways to deal with infections. Why don't these doctors compensate if they desperately need to give an Antibiotic in a dire situation, then why do they not make sure of the need for patients to stick to a STRICT candida diet, give them probitoics and possibly natural antifungals at teh sametime and/or after the Antibiotic course is finished. I have heard from someone else who had the same thing happen to him. He got a viral infection, got given antibiotics, just one course and he said his health was totally destroyed after it and he's still suffering a year later. He has the same symptoms as me, drowsiness, exhaustion, aching and a swollen tongue.

So sometimes I really loathe doctors who do not seem to have any other solution other than these drug answers.
