Yes we tried that (m)

We've already tried crushing the pills and putting them in food. I guess they taste bad and our cat knows its there and refuses to eat the food then too. I guess what I'm wondering is - Is there anther way to give these meds? Like injection? Or will he be OK to go untreated? Like I said, forcing the pills on him makes him go on a hunger strike and he WILL starve himself to death. He nearly did this a few years ago because he didn't like the food we were giving him. We tried to force him to eat the food and he nearly wasted away. We switched foods and he thrived again. Now we figure if we don't give him the pills at least he will eat. I know this is complicated.
