Poor fella (or gal, as it were) that no one has replied to your post!!! I haven't been on here in a while, as I've pretty much figured out my sinus problems and how to fix them (a search of all my posts will allow you to see my feedback on this forum)... But I will say that I have owned a Grossan machine, and it never leaked on me... even after about a year's usage... not even once... I gave it to my parents and it's still working... I opted to the Water Pik because I wanted the flexibility of cleaning both my suinuses AND my gums, which are prone to gingivitis... I'll admit it doesn't deliver the water stream as comforatbly and easily as the Grossan, but it works just fine nonetheless...

Actually... the truth is that in the end, for me, the Grossan machine actually did more harm than good... It forced water into the most tiny, inaccessible sinus passages, and subsequently this water could not get out, resulting in infection... Plain and simple, my allergies were keeping my ostia swollen, so the water remained trapped in there... My ENT warned me about this, but I thought it was working great because of the large amounts of mucus it got out of my nasopharynx... It seems to be a great help when you have that nasty, yellow-phlegmed infection that leaves you hawking and snorting all day, but otherwise, it serves no purpose in terms of prevention...

The RinoFlow machine is the best option, IMHO.... It's relatively uninvasive, but it helps your sinuses do what they're supposed to do.... But if you DO decide to get a Water Pik, get the Professional model, as it comes with a tip that gets under the gums... Hell, at least you'll have clean gums and teeth!! Ha!
