Re: Cold Plasma vs Cold Corona - from Dr. Saul Pressman
I kind of ended up with the EXT-120 circumstantially.
I had been using ozone for a year or so and really wanted
to get a medical grade unit so I could do more (insufflation,
etc.), but the money was holding me back. Then I stumbled
upon an ebay listing where a day spa that had been in operation
for less than a year was closing down and they were selling
a whole ozone sauna package (longevity cabinet, ext-120, and
an oxygen concentrator to boot). Retail for all these pieces would
go for over $5000. Quite frankly, I'm a little embarassed to say
how much I paid for it. Let's just say it was under $1600.
When it arrived, the only thing wrong was the oxygen
concentrator wasn't blowing air, which I shipped back to the
manufacturor and they fixed for about $300.
Anyway, enough about that. I pretty much exlusively use
the EXT-120 for all my ozone needs now. I use it for ozonating
water, rectal and ear insufflation as needed, and ozone sauna.
My only real complaint is that the bloody thing has a loud piercing
kind of noise. It was a bit startling the first time I turned it
on. As a result, I figured out a way to put it inside a closet
while I'm doing an ozone sauna.
I don't have a way to measure the ozone output, but there are 10
definite positions and the 'pitch' of the noise it makes changes
with each position (the highest level has the highest pitch).
It definitley produces a very strong ozone, and plenty enough
to fill the steam cabinet at 1/2 LPM coming from the oxygen
concentrator. I also use a welding oxygen tank with low flow
regulator for insufflation and water ozonation.
That's about all I can think of to say. Let me know if you
have more specific questions.
