you are stuck with the decision of taking the pup back. Simply because it might well take a few hundred just to run diagnostics. It could be esophageal problems, aortic arches, gastritis, or GERD. Once the problem is diagnosed then comes the cost of treatment. A sick dog/puppy is not a cheap item to take care of.
