Re: Molly Bloom ???
Thank you Molly! Rant away! It makes me feel better about having ranted myself.
Well, do the books say anything about how to care for teeth that have already been filled? I don't have the CD yet. I would love to NEVER go to another dentist. But I do have these old nasty amalgams. They are leaking and cracking my teeth. And as you already know, one has already caused a tooth to break some off. Don't I HAVE to go to have them replaced at some point? And what about what ever replaces them? Fillings don't last like real teeth, as you know... I wouldn't have ever consented to fillings, even as a teenager, but I was a child and forced to, by my mom, and the dentist (if that's what he wants to call himself). I call him an incompetent @&&.
That's horrible, how you were treated. I had a SIL that had a similar experience. They had her in tears about flossing. The one I saw, told me when I come back for her to do the teeth she didn't do, she wants to teach me how to brush!!! That was appalling. EVERY dentist I have ever been to, including Mr Incompetent, has told me how WELL I brush! This new one didn't say that, but he said everything looked beautiful. He didn't see any problems. Only bad thing was a small spot of decay on a wisdom tooth so far back that I couldn't see it. I have a mirror for that now and I am working on it. I am confident that it can heal on it's own.
Well, I guess I should let you go. I could go on forever.
Thanks again.
