Ha, this amuses me, and of course it is entirely correct (bewilderingly so). This "rule" has its benefits of course, as a man dressed entirely in black with long dark hair and a beard is generally left well alone!

And all the more entertaining is the reaction I would suddenly receive if I dressed all in white...

People are strangely amusing.
