maybe you could find something a bit more old-looking? sorry, maybe europeans have different tastes, if you went around dressed like that in Milan or Copenhagen you would come out as the plainest boring jerk in the field...in high school that was exaclty the way the unsure ones were dressing. If it is cold, would you just put a v-neck fine woolen sweater and maybe leave the neck of the shirt inside?
comeon, I don't like fashion jerks either (the hair-dresser look) but something slightly more cool, you know... unless you're in your 50's, than I would say jeans and blazer is ok enough probably
