Re: RYGAR! - Warrior Diet Info (Input from other CZer's too!)
that diet looks like a pretty good diet actually to put on the size you described...
1)How did you feel in the beginning stages of the diet?
because i was detoxing from years upon years of abusing nutritional supplements and crap- it was horrible for me, i was tired ,loosing size and my blood
Sugar was fighting to find a middleground, instead of bouncning all over the place.i was sick often, tired and really strung out like a cluck. It took me about a full year to recover.
2)How did you break your hunger pains(pangs) during the day?
i didn't i starved.Yup, i starved and got through it.i worked this time also and i usually do.This last past summer i was a detailer/mechanic and worked 10-11 hour days constantly moving and staying busy,on breaks i'd sleep.i started snacking on lunch breaks and eating french fries but it only got me tired so i quit that.I usually don't have anything when i work,i get through it usually.
3)How did you skin react to the diet? breakouts? pale?
it clears up really quick, but dairy and
Sugar break me out like criznazy..
now it's clear and it's been like this, but any dairy or
Sugar and my skin flares up like a mofo.
4)Have you done a cholesterol check recently?
nope,i haven't checked it since i was 22 and it was fine, i am 26 now
5)How is your blood pressure?
blood pressure is fine as long as i skip the sodium, sodium and mineral imbalances make me literly insane,so does sugar..which is ironic because i used to eat a ton of sugar from red bulls and..gulp..beer! LOL!
6)What types of fruits\veggies do you eat during the day and how much?
i used to eat alot of salads and i am still a firm believer of salads and steamed veggies,i tried eating raw veggies but it cramps me up inside.Steamed works well for me.i alternate foods during the week, and it seems to work better for me.i tried this whole All meat/fat thing and still pursing it ,but it's odd because they say no veggies or fibers.which is fine by me,but i happen to enjoy my veggies!
as far as fruits,i used to eat alot of pineapple smoothies to clean out my gut..it works well, but i am cutting out all sugars to see if my supposed Candida symptoms will disappear,so far they have.I usually never eat during the day.
7)Do you cheat? meaning do you slip in a piece of chocolate cake every so often?LOL!
oooh boy, do i ever! i was on this diet sooo long and my body has adapted soo well i believe ,that i had a phase this last summer where i just ate whatever i wanted.as long as it was in the evening.i splurged on boxes of cookies, doughnuts, chips, granola bars you name it,i ate it.After awhile i got sick of it and no longer felt like eating crap..so i stopped.and now i eat healthy,no processed gunk nothing.but every now and then i have cheat days where i eat guilt free..sure it's not the healthiest thing to do..but oh well, not advocating bingeing or anything but come on,let's get serious..people are gonna eat what they want to,i am no guru nor do i ever want to be..i am just human, and this human sometimes needs some sweets! or maybe alot!
LOL
(:
8)Are you getting enough of all essential vitamins\minerals on this diet?
i'd like to think so,i take a mult- and b complex so i think i am covered.
This diet may take some time to adapt, but when you do..it's great, no worrying about food , no timelines, nothing.i even pride myself in getting up,getting washed and heading into work and not worrying or thinking about food til i get home..then i feast!
as far as excersize,i became the leanest i have ever been.and in terms of muscular development, you can actually build muscles with less frquent workouts, but extremly intense and stimulating.you could get away with twice a week and still get chisled.i used to get away with once a week, every wednesday and i was getting super strong and big as well. All i did was deadlifts, military press,db press, weighted pull ups, curls and that was it.i rested the entire week, carb loaded and then worked my buns off for 3 hours on wednesday and for the week after i'd ride the wave of the natural hormonal cocktail that the intense workout provided me with.i was the strongest last year, i have since slacked because i got lazy..no other reason
(:
but i still remain cut up and in good shape,i have been working out once every two days- full body.
