I wish that these things were just dirt and skin as you've carelessly speculated.

Here is a photo of the "slugs" emerging from the skin. After applying mayonnaise, which I believe suffocates them and the protein in the mayonnaise effects them too, they can be rubbed OUT of any area of the skin even if it isn't rashy.
