I dont believe these wise statements are necessarily a blanket statement for all acts of indiscretion! They are in general and not conclusive to every possible situation! Carlos talks about restitution ! Which seems to imply a loss or something taken , and of course if you stole something it would make sense to return them and make things better and restition could take place! They talk about uncreating the situation! Implying that you create chaos or havoc or destroyed something and can in an act of restoring, uncreate the situation! And what about the other wise common sense sayings, like "first cause no harm " or the buddhist concept of relieving suffering as the highest act of mankind! Do you ignore those ideas? Does hurting somebone by telling them your indiscretions make things right? Confession of this type of indiscretion does not restore or un create anything !
Is'nt making things right and uncreating a bad situation by realizing what your doing is wrong and discontinue that transgression? Is it not restoring a bad situation by devoting yourself to Creating a better situation?
