Take yourself to a priest and confess your sins. You've not told anyone else so naturally this is eating you up inside. You've recognised how you could have potentially ruined your family and plus endangered your wife's health. I'm glad you stopped. Now go to any Roman Catholic church and ask when confession is and go to the priest and unburden your soul to another human being. Also, I would seek some counseling, short term. Tweet
