There are the left and right hepatic ducts in the liver which are substantial. I also found a picture of a stone in the liver during surgery one and put it in the gallery but it's gone now. My upper abdomen was quite distended in the liver region but that has returned to normal.

I think some of stones came from my poorly functioning gallbladder prior to the 20th but a gallbladder only has a capacity of 150 mL. I am as sure that I didn't get the full gallbladder reflex until the 20th and subsequent flushes. From what I have read the formation and growth rate stones are too slow to explain the expulsion of stones every 2/3 weeks.

I would agree that some debris would have found its way from the liver to the gallbladder.
