I was told my skin change and subsequent Acne breakouts were linked to a short course of the mini pill by a naturopath! It seems that you have had a similar experience. I had taken the lowest dose pill for years without any apparent (ill) effects. I came off of that pill and much later did a 2 week master cleanse, had my baby then later tried the mini pill.

During that time my naturopath asked me what I was taking and whatever it was did not suit me and I must stop.
