Hello:
No, that's not exactly the type I meant. The type I used for ringworm was in a small tincture bottle, which probably must be bought from behind the counter (no prescription necessary). The povidone-iodine is the same type of antiseptic which is used in hospitals for surgery. It can kill bacteria, and from what I have read, may help a little for fungus, but not as well as the pure iodine.

If you try it, will you please let us know how well it works?
