The way I used xylitol was a teaspoon or two in my tea or oatmeal, or I made hot cocoa (still do). I started with a small amount per day, then worked up to the larger amounts. I spread out the doses throughout the day. Bowel cleansing and acidophilus helped me very much, also. I knew I had candida overgrowth through the usual symptoms: yeast infections for most of my life, foggy thinking, craving for sugar, muscle aches. Plus, it got much worse after the last round of Antibiotics I took, during the time my hormones were changing due to premenopause. Do you think you have it?
