You're welcome! I'm sorry, I don't know about using it for jock itch or the scalp. My husband used a powder when he had jock itch once, and it worked pretty fast. I know there are a lot of shampoos for itching - Nizoral I've heard of.

The smell is fairly strong, but not overpowering. I think it fades fairly fast; it's been awhile since I've used it.

If you try the iodine, will you let us know how it worked?
