I was on the pill for a year or so and it didnt agree with me.
For 5 months before i came of it, i worked out that i bled non stop for 3 months in total. Went to the hospital and i was told i had a hormone imbalance and tried a few different types of pills. Non of them worked for me so i had a coil inserted to reduce the flow. Thats not agreeing with me either but im afraid to take it out incase my periods are all over the place again!!
Go to your local gynacologist, he can give you tablets to stop your period - usually takes about 3 days to work but get it checked out properly....
