How is it right that they lose everything financially? Maybe it's not. I see less of a problem with allowing gays to form a union....but "marriage" is already defined...and gays do not fit the required physical description.

I do not think gays should have an equal right to marry, that does not mean I hate them....I gave you a perfectly logical example how this is rational.

your final statement is the essense of how we are different. It's no more my problem than it is your problem.
