Re: Sun in the Bible

In Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov's book, "Toward a Solar Civilization," he says that God is in the Sun. God the Father is the nourishing, life-giving aspect of the sun. The Holy Spirit is its loving warmth. And the enlightening light of the sun is the Christ Light. Jesus, as the embodiment of the second person of the trinity, could say "I am the Light of the world." That's why he is considered to be the "sun of righteousness." And that's why when he was transfigured, his face shown like the sun. Aivanhov also said that the Higher Self of each individual exists in the sun. The Higher Self is also called the Christ Self.
