They definitely help. I do eventually want to be closer to 140 but setting the shorter term goal of 160 is a good thing. I sometimes get discouraged, thinking that 160 isn't small enough, but even going from 200 to 180, I feel a huge difference. I wear a different set of clothes and I look better. That would happen again if I got down to 160. It helps to look at pictures of myself when I was 160, though I didn't have many. I ate very little for two months and got much smaller but didn't ever buy new clothes or let myself enjoy it because I wanted to get even smaller. This time I want to appreciate it.
