Re: ::cries::
Oh, no, don't cry. Fasting will make you lose weight quickly, but it still will slow down after a few days of fasting. I can't recall how much you have to lose, but also depending on how much reserves you have, your weight loss may be slower or faster. Finally, with repeated fasting, the weight loss may slow down a bit too. Our bodies just won't always let us trick them the way we'd like. Honestly, if I could lose 1 pound per day these days, I'd be pleased as punch. I'm not weighing anywhere near daily, because I think I'd be crying like you if I did. ;) But my estimate from the few times that I have weighed myself on this leg of the fast is that I'm losing about half a pound a day. :(( What can you do but plug ahead.
What I think to myself when the amount of weight loss is not thrilling is that it's still better than gaining weight, and with a little patience, it will come off just the same. What's the alternative right now? I've tried to lose weight on diets that were doable for me (low carb), and all I was able to do was to have an almost imperceptible creep of weight downwards, and compared to that, this is definitely better.
Chin up, girl, you're doing great at a pound a day. Many people quote that as being totally average. I think aiming for 15
pounds in a week is a bit high.
