Re: For Healths Sake
Thank you so much for this message. I totally agree. I see fasting as a very spiritual process that helps to bring me back to a state of balance and serenity. I tend to have very compulsive, impulsive behaviors sometimes and fasting along with meditation helps me. I recently got married and my husband and I had a wonderful time for our wedding and honeymoon, but we also went overboard with eating exotic foods and not getting exercise etc. It was all fun and good until I saw the consequences--unhealthy feeling, breakouts in my skin, upset stomach, low energy, and about 10 extra
pounds of fat. I just did a great 12 day
Master-Cleanse but wasn't consciously trying to lose weight so I didn't and my skin still feels bad so I'm on day 2 of a hopefully longer
Master-Cleanse fast. The extra weight is a consequence of my recent poor choices in health, and is a benefit to regaining my balance and spirituality through fasting. Thank you so much for your post! I totally agree with you. I don't
Water Fast because it leaves me nutrient-deprived, but I have done it before and it can be spiritual. Thank you!
